“Those we love and remember though now beyond our view have given form and quality to our beings”
The passage from life to death may be gentle and peaceful or may be unprepared and difficult. The officiant provides a service that is compassionate and thoughtful, encouraging family and friends to participate to the extent they are willing and able.
The celebration of someone’s life is always special to family and friends.
As people gather to celebrate the life of the deceased and support one another the officiant is available to all. The service may include the personal background and history of the deceased, stories from friends, readings, music, and rituals.
My role as the officiant is to create the order of the service making sure to include any suggestions from the family.
