Every baby entering our world enters as a stranger and is greeted with love expressed in many ways.
The baby blessing offers a time and place for family, relatives and friends to gather and greet this new little person.
The blessing service is created by the family with my help and guidance.
Parents are offered the opportunity to plan and conduct a blessing ceremony during which they anoint their child as an instrument of peace. Parents may write the words of their commitment in raising their child.
The service can include music, readings and ritual, becoming a joyful occasion for everyone including the recent arrival.
